According to the results obtained from the study, a significant increase in the level of autophagy and the activation of the antioxidant route was observed after the administration of CBD at the beginning of the chronic phase of the pilocarpine-induced seizure. This suggests that the induction of autophagy and the activation of antioxidant defense could, in part, be involved in protection against seizures induced by pilocarpine. View study
