A new Pew Research poll showed that 88% of people think cannabis should be legal for medical or adult use. And while Los Angeles shut down 300 illicit dispensaries in 2022, California cannabis tax revenue reached its lowest level in nine quarters. I hope he’s wrong but a cannabis association leader warns of mass bankruptcies in the industry this year due to outstanding debts. New York launched its first 36 adult-use dispensaries this week, with Connecticut promising to launch in the next month. Rhode Island is slated for 2023. State by state, the east coast is becoming a believer in cannabis. :)
