Hi,
Even though the government recently agreed to change cannabis testing to help stem the shortage of transit drivers, they have not selected appropriate labs.
California's cannabis regulators are cracking down on licensed cannabis labs, warning that inaccurate test reporting could lead to license revocation. The fact that labs can use different equipment and processes is complicating things.
Congressional researchers think the DEA will likely reschedule marijuana from I to III, citing a similar recommendation the FDA followed with the synthetic THC drug Marinol. Rescheduling would greatly impact federal policies like 280E taxes, housing, and immigration. Something tells me this won't be a quick process. They say us canna-aficionados are inefficient, but compared to us, these government agencies move like sloths. ;)
