Global Cannabis and CBD News Roundup YouTube
Hi,

Oklahoma, the state with the most cannabis dispensaries, is voting on Tuesday to flip from medically legal to adult-use legal. We haven’t seen any polls, but we’ve got a feeling it will pass. And that means LOTS of people driving across the border from Texas to buy cannabis. Be safe everyone!

New York is doubling the number of licenses being issued from 150 to 300. While there has been talk of cracking down, only a handful of shops have been raided; and currently, the fine for illegally selling cannabis is $250. Unless laws are changed, I expect New York to follow California’s footsteps in creating a mess.

And in California, a new bill that banned campaign contributions from businesses to legislatures is resulting in lawsuits, as various businesses want to be able to grease the wheels…oh I mean, practice free speech and support their local politicians. ;) Cannabis companies are no stranger to this stuff, so I expect this to affect them as well.

Feel free to subscribe to our Cannabis or CBD News Roundups.

Have a relaxing week,
Jessica
