Hi,
In California’s San Bernardino County, "Operation Hammer" (which is much catchier than "Operation Kill Plants") led to the destruction of 60k cannabis plants in two weeks. This compares to 1.2M unlicensed cannabis plants the state has destroyed this year. Oakland gave loans to help equity applicants compete with better-funded corporations. Unfortunately, they sent some of the unpaid loans to collections. They say they are evaluating loan forgiveness though. And in Oregon, after a two-year $50k legal fight, a small cannabis company was fined $100k. Their offense? The owner had printed “Do not drive under the influence.” instead of “It is illegal to drive under the influence.” Ouch.
