An Arkansas medical marijuana group lost over 20,000 signatures due to a technicality, falling short of what they needed to get on the ballot. It looks like some minor rule about who should certify the signatures was unfairly enforced at the last minute to block their effort. That's shady, especially given that Arkansas polls show that the ballot would win. I wish Politicians would stop playing games and give the people the medicine that they want. On the bright side, Newsom approved a bill allowing dispensaries to sell food and non-alcoholic drinks, making cannabis cafes a new reality in California! I think one day cannabis will be sold everywhere that alcohol and medicine is sold. For now, at least we can eat and drink when we are using cannabis with friends. :)
