A recent study has found that CBD and cannabis extracts can significantly improve the quality of life for patients with autism. In California, it’s now up to the governor to allow several plant medicines, such as psilocybin, to help combat PTSD, depression and addiction. This could get interesting. Meanwhile, Virginia's new hemp limiting law is under legal scrutiny as it faces a federal lawsuit claiming the restrictions violate the Hemp Act. The outcome could have a ripple effect on hemp legislation nationwide. For example, in Columbia, South Carolina, local police have issued warnings to vape shops, instructing them to cease the sale of delta-8 and similar hemp products. Arkansas is also fighting hemp derivatives. Lawyers on both sides are ready to rumble. I loves me a good old Southern legal fight… Okay, now re-read that last sentence with a Southern drawl for effect. :)
