Hi,
Recent findings suggest many non-prescription opioid users are turning to cannabis to alleviate opioid cravings. Add this to the growing evidence that CBD and cannabis can help people leave more dangerous drugs. Jamie Lee Curtis mentions that she might have overdosed on fentanyl if it was as readily available back when she was addicted to opioids. And, in a new series, Matthew Broderick plays Richard Sackler, the head of the infamous family which spearheaded the opioid epidemic. Spoiler alert: The series isn't very complimentary on the Sacklers.
It's ironic that while using prescribed opiates and alcohol while pregnant is dangerous but legal, pregnant women using CBD with trace amounts of THC are imprisoned in Alabama! I've got an idea. How about we jail all congressmen who have children that were conceived with the help of alcohol use? ;)
