Ten pharmaceutical executives, sales reps, and brokers are facing rare criminal charges for distributing to pill mills during the opioid crisis. It's rare that the government goes after individuals, not just companies with criminal charges. :) Experts are exploring how mushrooms could help the space program allowing astronauts to grow fungi for building materials on the moon! Evidently among other benefits mushrooms can block solar radiation. Hemp companies are suing the state of California to halt a ban on products containing any detectable THC, claiming it goes beyond the intended scope of federal law. I'm a little annoyed with how this bill became a reality. The products were on the market for years without the governor and California’s congress passing bills then all of a sudden Governor Newsom realized they were accessible to his kids in liquor stores and he went into full "Papa Bear" mode, giving the bill emergency status and skipping normal political processes. Can't we compromise and have the state hire him a babysitter? ;)
