A recent poll suggests a nationwide shift in public opinion, with 61% of US voters backing the legalization of psychedelic therapy and 49% backing removal of criminal penalties for its personal use and possession.

Connecticut residents can now legally cultivate marijuana at home and adult use regulations in Maryland went into effect on July 1st as well.

We examine the federal cannabis policies of Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis and Democrat presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. While DeSantis is anti-federal legalization, RFK Jr. is not just discussing legalizing cannabis but also advocating for psychedelics legalization. His strategy includes reinvesting the revenue from taxes on legal sales so people suffering from drug addiction can grow organic food and care for animals in government programs. Creativity like this is a welcome change to see in the political arena; after all, who doesn’t enjoy gardens and cute animals? :)
