Trulieve claims to have successfully gathered sufficient signatures to include adult-use cannabis on Florida's forthcoming ballot! This development aligns with Florida's recent approval of telehealth prescriptions for medical cannabis, a step that is anticipated to substantially increase the number of patients. Additionally, there appears to be progress in addressing the long-awaited licenses promised to black farmers in Florida.

A task force in California is diligently examining the historical injustices endured by black individuals, focusing on issues stemming from slavery and discriminatory practices such those seen in banking or the War on Drugs. The task force has made preliminary estimates and is analyzing the appropriate distribution of funds, whether through cash or alternative methods. The study is set to conclude on June 30th, after which recommendations will be submitted for the governor's review. California currently faces a budget shortfall, adding an intriguing aspect to the situation. I’m curious to see how this plays out. I wonder if there will be a surge in DNA testing as everyone tries to see if they have any African in them to claim a piece of the pie. ;)
