In last week’s election, Florida rejected an adult-use cannabis initiative, falling 3 percent short of the 60% threshold and causing a sharp drop in cannabis stocks as companies lost access to a $5B market. Trulieve spent over $140M on that campaign! Much smaller campaigns in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Massachusetts also failed as citizens voted against adult-use cannabis and psychedelic initiatives, while Nebraska overwhelmingly approved medical cannabis. We included Trump’s mixed record and words on cannabis as experts try to predict what his term will bring. He is more supportive than he was 4 years ago so that's a plus. :)
