Four Republican Pennsylvanian Congressmen decided to put their weight behind continuing to block a controversial safe consumption site in Philadelphia, which has paused for years. These consumption sites directly violate the 1986 “Crack House Statute”, which was created to close crack houses and not save lives. Meanwhile, two safe consumption sites in New York are operating and saving lives by reducing fentanyl overdoses.

A recent study highlighted CBD’s anti-inflammatory benefits as topicals helped former elite-level athletes relieve pain.

And while much work is needed, we are excited about the University of Nebraska’s invention of hemp construction blocks that are as strong as those of concrete and have ¼ the carbon footprint and ½ the weight. One day when scaled, this could fight against global warming while vastly expanding the industry and offering hemp farmers a sustainable source of income. :)
