Hi,

A bill is being considered that would stop the FCC from fining TV and radio stations for cannabis advertising in states with legalized cannabis. This is needed as major platforms such as Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook (all of which are based in adult-use legal California) ban paid cannabis advertising. I wonder if this bill will cause the major internet platforms to require their lawyers to take a big hit and relax. :)

While many are expecting interstate cannabis to accompany federal legalization, an article explains how it could happen earlier. One-third of Illinois’ cannabis sales are from Indiana tourists yet, in an example of political stubbornness, Indiana politicians still won’t consider legalizing cannabis and increasing their tax revenues.

While medical cannabis is usually a precursor for full adult legality within a region, unfortunately, adult-use often leads to the end of medical programs. That seems to be what’s happening in Canada. Will we see cannabis legalized in Australia soon? 2.7% of Australians have received medical cannabis as of now. On the bright side, legalization means more patients using cannabis even if it's without a prescription. :)
