Well, more big money is coming into the Cannabis industry. TILT Holdings spent 210 million for Jupiter and Altria (aka Philip Morris) made a 1.8 billion dollar investment in the Canadian publicly traded company, Chronos Group! As big money comes in, the little guys are getting squeezed out. As of January 10th 2019, California collectives will be officially illegal as the law protecting them sunsets. Ofcourse, legality and enforcement are two different things. We hope that the medical collectives who built this industry can transition to the legal market and survive.
