France took a big step towards legalizing medical cannabis by proposing a bill to transition from trial programs to formal legislation. A recent comprehensive report suggests, among other things, that Oklahoma, Oregon, and California are best positioned to benefit if interstate cannabis commerce is legalized, due to their efficient production and favorable conditions.
Mark Roy Anderson, a 70-year-old disbarred lawyer from Beverly Hills and repeat con artist, was sentenced to 25 years for orchestrating a fraudulent hemp farm investment scheme that hustled $18M from investors. I'm getting Dirty Rotten Scoundrels vibes. I hope, that if he gets out of jail alive, instead of conning anyone, he makes a movie of his life. ;)
