Florida politicians are taking steps toward pushing bills that ban synthesized hemp-derived cannabinoids. The bills aim to eliminate psychoactive cannabinoids and require that hemp to be processed in a licensed facility.

In New York, a doctor and his office manager were recently convicted for exchanging sexual acts and money for opioids between 2007 and 2010. These pill mills helped develop today's opioid and fentanyl epidemic.

In response to a proposal for the US military to shut down Mexican fentanyl labs, President Lopez Obrador wrongly claimed that fentanyl is not created in Mexico.
