Hi,
Oregon is opening doors for psilocybin therapy this week as a regulated mental health treatment, making it the first state to do so. Things are changing quickly. Texas A&M University is researching the use of CBD for treating and preventing epilepsy, showing promising results in pre-clinical trials.
Most likely, you don't spend nights sleepless worrying about the economic plight of Colombian coca farmers. However, I find it interesting that the market is in a slump and wonder if this is due to the Sinaloa and other Mexican cartels expanding vertically in other areas and relying on synthetic fentanyl. Ovidio Guzman of the Sinaloa Cartel, one of the many sons of the infamous jailed drug lord "El Chapo," has been extradited to the US to face fentanyl trafficking charges. Two twin Guzman sons who were Chicago kingpins testified against their father and colluded with the federal government a while back. While the twins were in jail, their wives lived lavishly and were recently convicted of money laundering. El Chapoâs wife was just released from jail this week, though. When is this family getting a reality TV show? The Kardashians have nothing on them. Or maybe it would be more like the Sopranos. I predict that 50 years from now, there will be a slew of Mexican cartel movies like we have of the Italian mob. Ay yay yay! :)
