Hi,
Oklahoma's special election for cannabis legalization had a low turnout, the pro-cannabis crowd being defeated 62 to 38 percent. Evidently, not enough pro-cannabis voters could get off their couch as those exuberant senior citizens beat us to the polls. ;) I wonder if November's delay in counting signatures was part of the anti-cannabis governor's genius diabolical plan all along? Remember, pot voters, use sativa and not indica strains next election to energize you! :)
Hawaii and Delaware had positive developments in their efforts toward legalization. Delaware is hoping to have enough votes to overcome the governor's veto, while the Hawaiian governor supports legalization. Although Florida is a red state, recent data shows 70% of Floridians support legalization.
Eighteen states have DUI laws with an allowable limit of THC; a family is furious that California isn't one of them, as a seemingly stoned driver killed their daughter and might get off with a slap on the wrist. This highlights the lack of technology to make accurate judgments based on blood THC levels.
