In California, for the third time Decriminalize California is going to attempt to get enough signatures to put legalizing magic mushrooms on the ballot. This time with a claimed 3,200 volunteers, they seem to be more optimistic than the last time and won’t have to deal with COVID in their way. If the bill makes the ballot and it passes, it would not only help a lot of people but also create a massive new industry.

In the Senate, a proposed 'War on Drugs' bill is facing pushback. The bill would mandate social media companies to report users to the DEA which might entail scanning peoples' conversations looking for clues that they are using drugs.

And facing complaints from farmers about inadequate dispensaries, New York is going to allow cannabis sales in state events. Big Apple, let's get some state sponsored block parties going. :)
