There's a lot unfolding in the fentanyl world. U.S. Senate leader Schumer is stepping up, keen to impose sanctions on China over their lack of enforcement of precursor manufacturers. The Chinese embassy in Mexico, as expected, is challenging these accusations and pointing the finger at the US.

On the research front, some promising advancements are in sight. Scientists believe they've modified CBD to counteract the effects of fentanyl. I'm a little hesitant to put faith in unproven modified cannabinoids too quickly as I’d prefer the real thing. I hope it can help people who are using the fentanyl analogs hitting the streets, such as the fluorofentanyl found recently in San Francisco's drug supply.
