California NORML is worried that THC-O, one of the latest designer cannabinoids hitting the market, bears some similarities to vitamin E when vaped. Vitamin E was responsible for several deaths in 2019/2020 when used as a carrier oil in vapes.

The famed Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ daughter and the ex-wife of the late Michael Jackson, died last week at the age of 54. The cause of death has not been announced. Due to Presley’s history of opioid abuse, we wonder if this is yet another case of fentanyl infiltrating the drug supply. It’s sad to see another bright star burn out due to an accidental overdose. :(

A recent pilot study shows that the road to recovery from opiate addiction can start in pharmacies. Although traditionally prescribed by a doctor, test programs have given pharmacists the power to administer buprenorphine to addicts in need. In the battle against overdoses, every tool is helpful.
