Hi,
Tennessee has issued its hemp regulations. These rules include a $250-$500 licensing fee, childproof packaging, and testing requirements. We anticipate similar regulations in other states. Delta 8 remains legal in Tennessee.
We thought it would be interesting to showcase a video of hemp fiber decortication at a South Dakota facility. Although the industry is in its infancy, we expect hemp fiber to grow in the coming decade.
As for the fentanyl epidemic, conservatives are gradually realizing that outdated rules must adapt to modern realities. Privacy and overreach concerns arise from bills forcing tech companies to monitor and report drug dealing. I'm hopeful for mandatory drug education in high schools, providing honest information about the differences between drugs as well as the dangers of mislabeled drugs containing deadly fentanyl.
