Global Cannabis and CBD News Roundup
|
|
Hi,
Ex-NBA great Chris Webes and Jason Wyld, CEO of TerrAscend, are dominating headlines with the Webber Wild Impact Fund which provides capital for people of color. Unfortunately, it seems that these headlines are false as a NY Cannabis Insider investigation couldn’t find successfully funded companies. Say it ain’t so, Chris! Perhaps he should call a timeout and explain the situation. ;)
We have an inkling that New York is going to launch cannabis delivery shortly, while New Jersey takes steps towards consumption lounges.
There are rumors with details of upcoming cannabis banking and the back and forth with the DOJ. The hope is that cannabis banking, minus legalization, will pass attached to another bill before the new congress is sworn in. My fingers are crossed. :)
Feel free to subscribe to our Cannabis or CBD News Roundups.
Have a splendid week,
Jessica
