The small town of Hancock in Maryland has a rare partnership, owning a 5% stake in a cannabis company. They are in talks to make sure they're getting their fair cut of the profits after the company got bought out by the powerhouse, Truelieve. I bet these types of partnerships could open new markets. :)

While big companies like Canopy Growth, Aurora Cannabis, and Cronos Group, invested heavily in US CBD after the 2018 hemp-friendly farm bill, they’re scaling back due to FDA inaction and a declining market.

Wells Fargo’s in the weed game! Well, they won't tell you that but Maryland's got a clever trick to keep Wells Fargo happy while still raking in state cannabis tax money. There are so many silly yet needed workarounds when federal law and state laws conflict. Let’s legalize, politicians! :)
