The White House recently stated that it has no plans to take action regarding the cannabis industry. So, at least for now, the status quo continues. In California, another major player, Gold Flora, which ran 16 dispensaries, is selling its assets. The Veterans Affairs Secretary said he had an "eye-opening" discussion with RFK Jr. about the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicine and intends to press Congress for action on the issue. I find it ironic how psychedelics seem to have a lot less political baggage than cannabis still does.
