Nausea and Vomiting Related to Cancer Treatment (PDQ): Patient Version (2018)
Nausea and vomiting can occur with many treatments for cancer. The nausea causes nausea in the stomach, as if the food he ate went up again. This summary aims to inform about cancer with updated information on the causes and treatment of nausea and vomiting (emesis) (N & V). It is meant to inform and help patients, families and caregivers. View study
Neural basis of anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol (CBD) in generalized social anxiety disorder: a preliminary report ()
Studies in animals and humans indicate that cannabidiol (CBD), an important component of cannabis, has anxiolytic properties. So far no studies have been conducted related to the effects of this compound on human pathological anxiety and its underlying brain mechanisms. The objective of this study was to investigate patients with generalized social anxiety disorders (SAD) using functional neuroimaging. View study
Neuromodulators for pain management in rheumatoid arthritis (2012)
This research focused on the study of the efficacy and safety of neuromodulators in the treatment of pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). According to the results obtained in this research, it could be concluded that there is weak evidence that oral nefopam, topical capsaicin and oromucosal cannabis are all superior to placebo in reducing pain in patients with RA. Confidence in our estimates is not strong given the difficulties with blinding, the small number of participants evaluated and the lack of adverse event data. In some patients, however, even a small degree of pain relief can be considered valuable. It is advisable to carry out future research and obtain more information about it. View study
Neuropathic Pain: The Pharmacological Management of Neuropathic Pain in Adults in Non-specialist Settings [Internet] (2013)
Neuropathic pain is defined as pain that is initiated or caused by an injury or primary dysfunction in the nervous system. The objective of this clinical guide is to improve the care of adults with neuropathic pain by means of evidence-based recommendations on the pharmacological management of neuropathic pain outside of specialized services for pain management. Neuropharmacology of the Endocannabinoid Signaling System-Molecular Mechanisms, Biological Actions and Synaptic Plasticity (2007)
The present investigation focused on new information about the endocannabinoid signaling system in the brain. As well as in the molecular mechanisms, biological actions and synaptic plasticity. View study
Neuroprotective antioxidants from marijuana ()
This research aimed to examine cannabidiol and other cannabinoids in cultures of cortical neurons of rats exposed to toxic levels of the neurotransmitter glutamate. It was found that using a system based on the cyclic reaction and a background reaction system, it was demonstrated that Cannabidiol THC and other cannabinoids are potent antioxidants. As evidence that cannabinoids can act as antioxidants in neuronal cultures, it was shown that cannabidiol reduces the toxicity of hydroperoxide in neurons. View study

Nonpsychoactive Cannabidiol Prevents Prion Accumulation and Protects Neurons against Prion Toxicity (2007)
The results of this study showed that cannabidiol (CBD) inhibited the accumulation in (CNS) of the protease resistant prion protein (Prpres), both in mouse and sheep scrapie infected cells used in this investigation. (CDB) may represent a promising new antiprincipy drug for the treatment of prion diseases. View study
