  • Effects of anandamide in migraine: data from an animal model (2010)

Rats were used in this study to evaluate the effects of anandamide on migraine. With the results of this study it was possible to verify that a dysfunction of the endocannabinoid system can contribute to the development of migraine attacks and that a pharmacological modulation of CB receptors can be useful for the treatment of migraine pain.
