    The objective of this study was to evaluate the possible drug interactions of the oromucosal aerosol of THC and CBD Sativex�, nabiximols in combination with the cytochrome P450 (CYP450) inducer (rifampin) or inhibitors (ketoconazole or omeprazole). Based on our findings, there is likely to be little impact on other drugs metabolized by CYP enzymes in the PK parameters of the THC / CBD spray, but potential effects should be considered when co-administered THC / CBD with compounds that share the CYP3A4 pathway like rifampicin or ketoconazole.
